Any suggestions for easing the pain of crossing the U.S./Canada border with our tiel. They expect us to visit their vet at each crossing.

Contact your vet to ensure you have the necessary paperwork from your vet before you get to the border.

The government vets advise there is no paperwork that they will accept. They feel that they, alone, must assess the bird. I think they forget how many birds FLY over the border each day. LOL

Try to be proactive even though you have been told differently, and have a health certificate from your vet, just in case.
