I just rescued a 3 year old classic black cockatiel. He has some neurological issues that keep him from being able to hold his head upright for any length of time. He eats and drinks, so I don't worry that he is not eating. He seems to drink alot , hence he goes to the bathroom quite frequently. Is this normal? He has been checked by a vet before I got him. I was told he is in good health. His poop is formed (not quite solid - I guess because of how often he goes). I am just a bit concerned with the frequency that he goes. He is on a pellet diet with fresh fruit and veggies. He is not finicky. Should I be worried.

Has he been examined by an Avian Vet? How many times per day is he pooping? The poop should be in three parts: 1) liquid part 2) white part and 3) solid dark part and should be separate and not mixed together. Increased water drinking could mean disease or diabetes.
