We recently rescued a lost young male cockatiel ("Pan"), healthy, active, wings unclipped. Introducing to our 6-yr-old male ("Pie'), king-of-the-mountain since Day 1 (territorial). Last night, after position jockeying, both quietly shared large cage. Today, both flying, exploring in large room, met in same area (back of long sofa). "Pie" went into attack mode & they flew at each other until I shoo-ed off "Pie" (as attacker), and both settled down again (no actual injuries). Will these two ever settle into a friendly relationship? Help!

It will take time. Right now it is a good idea to keep them in separate cages next to each other so they can get better acquainted.
