If anyone knows how to place this message where it goes and wants to copy and paste it that would be so appreciated. I've spent 2 hours trying to figure this out. Here's the message:
I got my first Cockatiel in December. She is now 9 months old. She has always been very tame and loveble.
About a week ago she started biting me. She is not acting aggressive, she still sits on my finger or shoulder, but when she's on my shoulder she will suddenly bit my ear, chin or cheek. Tonight she drew blood. I don't enjoy her anymore because I don't know when she will bite. If I can't solve this problem I will have to find her a new home with someone who can deal with this.
I recently had a 3 week period when she got adequate but less attention from me because of a problem that demanded my attention. Now that things have gotten a little better I can't keep her on my shoulder like I did before because she'll bite.
Is there a place on this website to find her a new home if that becomes necessary? I have very strong feelings about this since she has been so important to me. I would never give her up to anyone unless I was positive they would take good care of her. Her name is Millie.

I think you should reconnect with your tiel.I have an 8 year old tiel and I went through the same problem. It took awhile but lots of love and patience is what it takes.By all means keep your tiel, your tiel would be lost with out you.No more biting!!! ;D
