Hi, I am new from Seattle, WA.
I've had my 2 cockatiels for 8 and 9 years now. Used to have cats but our son was born with allergies to them so bought a cockatiel after I fell in love with my sister's cockatiel. Peanut was supposed to be our son's, but she bonded with me and vice versa. Bought Smokey a year later for our son, but she bonded with my husband and vice versa. Now our son is in college so am kind of glad they never bonded with him. They are so very much part of our family and hope they will be for many, many more years to come.
