Hi. I've had my rescued male cockatiel for about a year now. Got him switched over to a pellet diet early on. I started feeding him sprouts regularly a couple of months ago, & now I can't get him to eat much of anything else! I mix the sprouts w/his fresh veggies, but he just picks thru the serving & spits out the veggies (the exception to this being carrot greens & cooked sweet potato). & if I only serve the veggies, he'll just turn up his beak & eat pellets until I serve the sprouts again. Is there such a thing as eating too much sprouts? I will continue to offer different veggies, in the hope that he'll eat something, but is it a problem that he's pretty much ignoring any veggie for the sprouts?
