For about ten years I bred and raised Teils.
I never lost a bird. Many of mine are thriving with those they were placed with. Then I had several catastrophic events in my life. We donated my flock to the local caged bird society. My Alpha male was 19 years old, strong & healthy. I have missed him so much. I am now 7 years later, now living in Texas, able to live in my own apartment. I was in the last week given a small male pied. He is so tiny. but cute he is about 12 years old.
I am involved in a couple rescues here in DFW. I would like to get involved in some rescue/ Foster for birds
help here. I am happy to be back into the Teils.
I would love to talk with everyone about the birds.
I believe in keeping them natural as possible. I believe you must respect the nature of the animal, they are not human.
I love the nature of Teils.
If anyone needs help to re-home a bird in DFW, I will help you.
