Hello everyone,
I was wondering how to get my babies to take a dip in a large fluted pie pan.. I've tried to spray them down with a water bottle a couple of times, but they didn't like the spray on them. I made sure that the water was at room temp, and used a fine mist. Needless to say, they hated it.. Yesterday it was nice and warm here in Ohio,about 90. I thought they would like to splash around in the water. I slightly filled a ceramic pie pan with water, placed it in their cage. They were interested in it, kept perching on the edge, but they would just drink the water instead of playing in it. Of course I didn't fill the dish to the rim, I just put enough in there to get their toes wet. I guess I thought that all birdies love water, but these two don't.. So if anyone has any ideas, please submit them!
