Some day I am going to get one of those new fangled cell phones. Only now because of the area I live in you can't use them. The grand kids hate it when they come for a visit and have to use the house phone. Maybe I am just old, but I would love to see what would happen if for a week life when back to the way it was before WWll or earlier. I thought my grand daughter's friend would have a heart attack when she asked for eggs for breakfast and my grand daughter took her out to the hen house to collect the eggs. Once back inside, she wanted to know how the eggs got there, her Mother always got them at the store.

I am 41 yrs young and live in the city and have chickens. Love them! Now both my parents texted so you should try it. Start small..

Nothing against them, just can't use them where I live. It is funny watching the kids walking around the property trying to find a place where they can get a bar to call out. Some can, some can't, but not in the house, barn or chicken coops. My boss even wanted to buy one for me. I told him I couldn't use it on at home and he bet me I could, he lose and I enjoy the raise to this day.

Reminds me of the time I bought an LG cellphone. I had to stand outside the house to get it to work because of the lack of reception where I live. After a year of using it, I went back to using tracfone ( yeah I use prepaid )because it worked inside the house.

Thats so funny!! Yea I'm with you on that one.. After my contract expired, I started using the Tracfone too. It's great to pay as you go.
Just think of the money that you save,now we can spend even more on our Tiels.. LOL

I've always use prepaid cellphones. The LG was a total waste of money. I tried using one of tracfone's monthly plans once and hardly used the minutes that came with it. So I went back to using the cards.
