These tiels don't know it, but this cat is the best protection they have. When I put my baby chicks in the brooder, he will guard them. Not even my wife can come close to the brooder. Yet he will hunt every wild critter in the yard. When they come out to play he jumps up on top of the freezer and watches over them. Once they go back in the cage, he goes and sets next to them on the desk. If they get to close to me, he will cry trying to let them know they might be in danger. And he will run the other cat off if she comes in the room with them.
