Hi my name is Karin and I have a 15 year old tiel named Toby. Lately he has been doing LOT of regurgitating on one of his toys. I mean where he has all this food all over his beak... I know he has done this in the past but this is now EVERY day... Is it something I should be worried about?!?!? THanks for any help... He seems to be in fine health other than lately he seems SO MUCH noisier. I have had him since he was a little birdie but lately he seems to be screaming more. (Nothing really has changed in our household truthfully and neither has his diet).... Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Is his energy level the same? Has he been standing on the bottom of his cage all fluffed out? If he is showing all the symptoms then take him to the vet ASAP. As for him being noisier, has there been any changes in the household. Even the smallest change could be significant.

Have you found regurgitated food on places other than his toys (perches, walls, etc)? Does he have regurgiated seeds on his body indicating he was shaking his head while involutarily vomiting up his crop contents? Does his screaming occur in conjunction with the regurgitation?
Considering his age and that this is a new behavior, I would keep a close eye and as already suggested consider taking him to a vet for examination. Better safe than sorry....always.
