When I plant my garden next spring, is there any special seeds I could plant as treats? I already have plenty of carrot and greens for them. To see them eat the carrot tops, you would think they never got fed. I have about a 1/4 acre that I plan on just for different types of seeds as treats for my animals.

I can tell you Chirpy likes sunflower, cantaloupe, and squash seed.

They love millet. I call it cockatiel candy and use it for a treat. Plant kale, collard greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts. These are all good healthy greens for cockatiels and their caretakers also. Jan

Jan I bought Chirpy millet today because I'm gonna stick into her toys to get her to play with them. Her previous owners gave her millet and they say she liked it.
