The eggs are not going to hatch.
What you should the next time they lay in egg is take it out of the cage and put it in the nest box within a few hours of laying. If the parents don't try to lay on them then you will have to incubate them yourself.
Also the nesting box size should be 9"-11"-12" with a 2 and 1/4 inch opening.

Well the only advise I have to give you is to put the eggs in the nest and see if they will go in there. If you need more help with getting the tiels to go into the nest and lay on the eggs, you can send an email to the administrator at ncsjournal@showtiels.com

debruny I can tell you my experience with a pair I have now. The female laid her eggs in the bottom of the cage several times. Each time, I put them into the nest box and she never sat on them. Finally, out of desperation, I took a cardboard box from the post office (a small square one that had been used once but was clean inside) and cut the top off. I filled it with a about 1 inch of white bedding (its sold at petsmart or petco and usually found in the rabbit section) that is made up of non-toxic paper. Once she laid the next egg in the bottom of the cage, I put it into the cardboard box and found her sitting it the next day. She laid 4 more - each in the bottom of the cage - and I placed them into the box. 4 of the 5 eggs hatched and I got big, beautiful and healthy babies out of her. She still refuses to use a nest box. I think she is afraid of the enclosed area. So, when she's ready to go to nest again, I give her both options. She always chooses the cardboard.

Oh - one more note - when the eggs hatched, you can not keep cardboard clean. I line the boxes with cardstock (folded up around the edges too) and go through about 10 boxes each clutch in order to make sure that the boxes stay clean enough to keep the babies healthy. It can get expensive but this hen will now also foster any egg I put under her or any hatchling from any other bird so I put up with the added expense. You can also try using a small basket or a tupperware container. The MOST important thing to make sure you do not forget to do is to cover the cage. The hatchlings should not be exposed to bright light. I usually put a towel over the side of the cage where she is nesting as soon as she starts sitting.
