Hi I'v just joined today,
I have 4 teils and they have all been rescued in different ways.
Magic,my first wee boy was discovered at work(I work with social services)and when I 1st saw him my heart broke.The wee man was nearly bald and in a terrible way,he was terrified of people(understandably)..I cried all night thinking of him and promptly marched round to the offenders next day and bought him.
Took him home,went straight to pet shop,new cage,feeders,toys FOOD,the works.
To cut a long story short,5 years later although apparently an old man,he's in good health and on a good day can sit on my hand for a minute.
I have 3 others Betty,Agnes and Cyril(who is disabled).
Any way I rely on the internet for all info about their upkeep as all my local vets are not Avian and the nearest Avian vet is miles away.
I think Wee Magic is constipated.I give them a varied diet as well as their seeds,they enjoy a variety of fruit and veg that are safe for them to eat.There have never been problems before,the others are ok..I know he's an old man but I'm scared out of my wits!!!
I'll probably take him in the car any way but anyone any ideas?
