We're thinking about moving to a place that has a higher elevation by about 6 thousand feet. Is it safe to move the birds? We have two 4 year old cockatiels with no health problems.

You should have no problem. Birds are not as sensitive to altitude changes. That's a huge change though. Might want to ask people in the area you are moving to. Maybe call a vet in that area.  |
