Hello! I work at a humane society in NH. We just got a stray grey cockatiel with a green leg band. The band has a vertical "10" followed by a horizontal "S80" and finally a vertical "001" (which could be "100 instead I suppose). Can anyone help us find this poor birdie's owner? Much obliged!

Does the leg band also have the letters "NCS" appearing sideways? Could the band be: NCS 80S 100 10? I can only assist you with locating the breeder of the bird if the band is an National Cockatiel Society coded band (NCS). You can also contact L&M Leg Bands (CA) who is likely the manufacturer of the band. They should at least be able to give you information on the breeder.
