I need some members help.

We just found the prettiest Cockatiel while on our daily walk. We posted notes in the neighborhood but after several days no calls. We would like to get this bird back to its owner. Plan B is to find a good home for it. Anyone have any good ideas on how to find this little guy a good 'bird' home?
Any help/direction is appreciated.

Contact your local bird club. They may have an adoption program.
Contact rescue organizations in your area to see if they take in birds.
Have you checked with your fire department and police department to see if someone reported their bird missing?
