I have two female tiels that I have in a flight cage together and they have been doing well. I just got a male cockatiel and have him in his own cage but near the cage the females are in. How do I go about intergrating them? Do I put him in for like ten minutes at a time?
Also, since I have introduced the male into our family, one of females mounted the other female. They have never displayed that behavior before and was wondering if it was normal or if she was just hot for the new guy and since she couldn't get to him...
Any and all suggestions welcome.

Sorry a reply to your message has not been posted sooner. Sounds like the the females are interested in the new guy in the house. You can let them play together or house all three together. When bonding starts to take place there will be preening and sitting together. The pair may pick on the spare, then remove the spare female. Jan

Just adding a tad bit to Jans responce since it was a good one...you should introduce them outside of their cage. Have fun with them and please do let us know if they "get together", LOL Ruth
