Anybody know anything about this? My cockatiel whom is about 3 years old and has the beautiful rosey cheeks and yellow face has suddenly in the last couple of months developed a green face around his beak, both above and below. Anybody seen or know anything about this?
Thanks

Sometimes when feeding pellets to cockatiels, they will get a colored ring around their beaks from the coloring used. Check that first and then come back and I will make sure we get you talking to someone.

I checked his food,it only has a slight amount of green pellets in it. He has been eating the same food for 3 years. This green around his face just showed up about 2 mos.ago? Just above his beak and on the sides. It is unilateral though, almost like it is supposed to be there. But,I have never seen any pictures of one with a pretty yellow face with the green trim.

I agree, it sounds like your bird has taken a nice bath and a has gotten green dye on his face. Also check to make sure his cage is kept clean and he's not eating his own feces (another green object in his cage). It could also be dye from a new toy.
No medical issue causes something like this and I have seen it a lot from dyes.
