Hello! My name is Rachel, I'm 35, and I live in Staunton, VA. I love cockatiels. I just lost my beautiful white-face cockatiel named Seymour who we've had for 10 years, this past weekend. He was the sweetest thing ever and I miss him so much. The house is so quiet now without him. I want to find another one just like him, but I'm having a very hard time locating anyone in VA or the surrounding area who has one. I also own three dogs, a cat, two budgies (parakeets), and lots of tropical fish. I look forward to meeting you all and discussing these wonderful birds.

Hi Rachel - can't hardly read these postings without getting wet eyes. Keep in mind as you probably know, no two birds are alike. It's impossible to replace Seymour but there's surely a beautiful bird out there waiting for you. At least you still have lots of company. Look forward to taking more, Monty
