My name is Kim, I had a lovely tiel Pepe' for several years untill about a year ago, I was distracted by visiters & went out on my deck to ans a phone call. Pepe' was on my shoulder & I wasnt thinking!! (no , not clipped, I know my bad) Well Pepe' is now a bird of the wild...we tried everything....at least I like to think of him living in some tree with friends)
Here's my spot now. I ans and add a few months ago for someone selling very reasonable..We picked out 2 that she said were not related & quite sure male & female. (my husb wants to be a grandpa!! )
Captain & Morgan (like that?lol) get along pretty much but reasently Morgan began presenting herself & Captain seemed to want nothing to do with her. (I figured either hes not ready 3mos age difference..or acctualy a female). Last month I found an egg at the bottom of the cage. Not sure who laid it , & no one was tending to it I removed it.
5 Days ago, hello another egg. This time Morgan was sitting but chasing Captain anytime he came close. I removed Captain to another cage. I had looked on line & saw it was better healthwise not to remove the egg so....I placed a cloth ( no nesting box) inside , moved the water & food closer to her..3 days later another egg ...well there's now 4 total. She's very attentive, leaves only for short periods of time to poo some where else and to streach her wings...Shes calm as long as Captain doesnt go near the cage..
As my husband says.."did they do it?" lol..or are they empty eggs of 2 females? Do I just wait? Help?
