I bought my bird last october from petco, and it was a bit nervous. Later on after about a month, it lost ALL of its tail feathers! I didn't know what was wrong. Please Help me find out whats wrong with her. All help is needed since I am planning on buying another one to breed with it. Thanks!

Sometimes when cockatiels are stressed they will lose their tail feathers, but if they haven't grown back in, you need to take him/her to an Avian vet to see if there are still pieces of the feathers in, if so, these will cause the feathers not to come back in. If you are truly interested in breeding, make sure that you get birds checked out if you buy them from somewhere other than a breeder or bird speciality store.
